I Grow So Fast

 Daddy's getting the hang of this taking care of me thing. He says I'm pretty all the time, mommy agrees.

Today is my first photo shoot 11/12/11 I'm 11 days old and 6lbs 12oz. Getting so big. I sleep most of the time. Lucky mommy!!

I work out!! Doing tummy time. I can hold my head up for a long time. One of my nicknames is peacock because my hair sticks up all the time. I'm 7lbs 10oz.

Thanksgiving weekend we decorated my first Christmas tree, can't wait till I can help more. Look daddy and I wore matching outfits.

I'm getting bigger. 8lbs 10oz.

I'm 1 month old now and 8lbs 14oz. I eat every 3-5 hours so my mommy gets a little break. I started telling mommy and daddy stories and I'm really good at entertaining myself. I also love sleep just like my dad.

Today I met Santa. He was really nice to me, probably because he thought I was one of his elf's. I liked him. I asked for an Ipod to put all my lullabys on, I think I'll get it.

We saved the best picture for last. Daddy was on diaper duty since he can't breastfeed. After all those diapers he better be a professional.

My Birth Story

 Hi, my name is Ellie Myla Regenhard. I was born on 11/1/11 at 10:41pm. I was 6lbs 8oz and 19 inches.  My entrance into the world was fast and furious, if I was going to be born on the date my mommy wanted. I think I broke my bag of water at 6pm but my mom knew for sure at 7:30pm when   
she felt a big gush of fluid. The contractions started at about 8:15pm. Daddy had friends over at the time so he made them go home while mommy got in the bath to try and relax. At 8:45pm mommy was hurting more so she wanted to sit on the toilet. While there, she decided she was ready for her epidural so we called our nurse Porschia to come over and go to the hospital with us. When she got to the house at 

       9:30pm, she said we better hurry and go. So daddy loaded the car and mommy got dressed. By now the pain was REALLY BAD!! Daddy said mommy was really loud on the way to the hospital, good thing it's only 2 miles away. By the time we got to labor and delivery it was 10pm and mom was nearly 10cm dilated. Uh oh, I guess there's no time for an epidural. A couple of pushes later I was born beautiful and perfect. That's right, I made my mommy go natural and on top of that the Dr never even made it. I was in such a rush mommy never even got to change her clothes.

I got to go home at 6pm the next day, a record 20 hours after we arrived at the hospital for delivery. We should get a discount on our bill. Well that's it, my birth story, short and sweet just like me.
