We saved the best picture for last. Daddy was on diaper duty since he can't breastfeed. After all those diapers he better be a professional.

My Birth Story

 Hi, my name is Ellie Myla Regenhard. I was born on 11/1/11 at 10:41pm. I was 6lbs 8oz and 19 inches.  My entrance into the world was fast and furious, if I was going to be born on the date my mommy wanted. I think I broke my bag of water at 6pm but my mom knew for sure at 7:30pm when   
she felt a big gush of fluid. The contractions started at about 8:15pm. Daddy had friends over at the time so he made them go home while mommy got in the bath to try and relax. At 8:45pm mommy was hurting more so she wanted to sit on the toilet. While there, she decided she was ready for her epidural so we called our nurse Porschia to come over and go to the hospital with us. When she got to the house at 

       9:30pm, she said we better hurry and go. So daddy loaded the car and mommy got dressed. By now the pain was REALLY BAD!! Daddy said mommy was really loud on the way to the hospital, good thing it's only 2 miles away. By the time we got to labor and delivery it was 10pm and mom was nearly 10cm dilated. Uh oh, I guess there's no time for an epidural. A couple of pushes later I was born beautiful and perfect. That's right, I made my mommy go natural and on top of that the Dr never even made it. I was in such a rush mommy never even got to change her clothes.

I got to go home at 6pm the next day, a record 20 hours after we arrived at the hospital for delivery. We should get a discount on our bill. Well that's it, my birth story, short and sweet just like me.

Ellie's Nursery

 This is my beautiful bedroom, which I will hopefully be sleeping in soon. Daddy and Mommy worked really hard and got it mostly done before I was even born. Mom says there are still a few finishing touches like adding her belly cast and our photos, but I think it's perfect for me right now.

 Mommy picked some really nice Jon Crane paintings for me so now I have my own collection started just like her and grandma. The pink and green lanterns hanging are from my baby shower, I think they will keep me entertained for a while.

My crib bedding is paisley pink and green, pretty sophisticated for a little girl like me but I can handle it. Mommy said she would add more pictures of my room as it progresses but we'll see how busy I keep her!! Talk to ya later.
